Urban Vault Exclusive: MURDAH SRVC – Medusa (Music Video Premiere)

European Singer-songwriter CHE of MURDAH SRVC drops the brand new visual for his track MEDUSA, shot by Raslov Filmmaker, starring Yuri Netto

‘Medusa’, tells us about an asphyxiating relationship the main character has with his partner. The music video shows a sophisticated control system for people, that you can easily operate from your computer. New slaves or the future of romance?

“A suffocating, tiring relationship is what this song is about. You want to leave but you can’t. You feel like you’ve been controlled, but you don’t even know how”.

‘Medusa’  is the third single off an EP that has been releasing one song at the time, every month along with the music video, since January. Check out the previous two releases, ‘Running on the Surface’ and ‘Icarus’ HERE.

MURDAH SRVC is an audio and visual project, heavily influenced by Japanese pop culture, filthy drum machines, dark synths and filtered vocals are the landscape in which MURDAH SRVC songs unravel. A future scenery is where the sci-fi manga-influenced comic takes place. Music inspiration comes from artists like Massive Attack, Portishead, SOHN, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean. Visually, Katsuhiro Otomo, Hirohiko Araki, Hisashi Eguchi, Hideaki Anno are the main influences.
