London, UK-based artist Maxwell D joins forces with Tanya Cracknell, AKA The Grime Violinist, and producer Nat Powers in the hard-hitting, atmospheric Grime cut, GRIMEY STUFF, taken off Maxwell D’s new EP, TIMELESS VOLUME 1

Proclaiming his reign as one of the founding members of the birth of Grime, having been a founder member of the Pay As U Go Cartel (alongside the likes of DJ Target and Wiley) it’s no surprise to why ‘Grimey Stuff’ is a reflection of Maxwell D’s contribution to the genre. The track also demonstrates what he does best. The piano riff accelerates through the melodic dark synth beat and merges with Maxwell D’s powerful vocals, which is laced with heavy Jamaican Patois. Tanya Cracknell, aka The Grime Violinist, provides not only backing but structure to the Nat Powers produced track. The awe-inducing track is the first single from Maxwell Dʼs new Grime EP ‘Timeless’ volume 1.

Having been a mainstay of grime for more than a decade, Maxwell D has amassed a number of successful hits and projects through the course of the years. Catapulting him onto the radar of fans, press and contemporaries alike, he first launched onto the scene with his garage debut ‘Serious‘, entering the UK national charts and followed up with ‘Champagne Dance,’ from Pay As U Go Cartel.
