London-based artist, songwriter and producer Fastlane Wez recently released his new Summer track, THAT THING

Primed for the Summer, Fastlane’s Afro bashment jam is a welcome return from one of the most well-loved and recognised figures in the UK scene, ghostwriting and producing for a number of the UK’s biggest-selling artists as well as picking up Platinum plaques as a producer, remixing for the likes of Krept & Konan (‘Freak of the Week’) and Disciples.

Following his breakout track ‘Are You Down’ earlier this year, ‘That Thing’ is another impressive follow-up, Fastlane immediately laying down his production skills on a polished, bouncy bassline and keeping his touch in creating low-key, hard-hitting hooks that feel just right.

Premiered with GRM DAILY and already picking up heat from Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, ‘That Thing’ should see a lot more of an artist that’s now rightfully being recognised in his own right. Fastlane keeps the bangers coming and is only moving in one direction.
