Heavy Bass runs deep on Seattle based Quackson’s Dim Mak, New Noise debut RUN IT

Incorporating elements of dubstep and trap, Seattle’s Quackson brings the low end sounds to mind-warping frequencies on his New Noise debut ‘Run It’, premiered today on YourEDM.

Jackson Wells, aka, Quackson is the latest addition to Dim Mak’s New Noise imprint. Featured on YourEDM’s Top 40 Artists to Watch in 2019, Quackson is quickly making his mark in the dance music world. While the producer is primarily known for his dark, driving bass music, ‘Run It’ features Quackson’s signature flair with a slight twist. Drawing inspiration from half-time drum and bass, ‘Run It’ is an anthemic bass track with high-intensity bass lines, hard hitting drums, and hypnotic vocals that keep the song moving.

Quackson has also had a large impact on Seattle’s electronic music scene, known for his music and artist collective, Wave Presents. The collective brings together electronic artists from Seattle and the surrounding areas to curate events centered around electronic music, shining a light on up-and-coming artists.

New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles.
