Virginia Beach-based emcee, producer & engineer Stu Gretto recently released his latest self-produced track ALL YOURS

Every now and then an artist emerges seemingly out of nowhere to provide the world with timeless, classic pieces of music created from the heart and delivered to the ears of listeners worldwide. Stu Gretto is that diamond in the rough. Originally from Upstate New York, where he was introduced to Hip Hop at an early age, Stu currently resides near the shores of Virginia Beach, a place that has molded him into the versatile artist he is today.

Stu wears many hats so-to-speak. Rapper, Producer, Mix/Master Engineer, and even adjunct instructor of Sound Design. Stu has worked tirelessly throughout his career in an effort to allow the quality of his music to speak for him. Stu’s body of work includes a 2017 instrumental album called ‘The Chosen Samples Beat Tape‘ which was released exclusively on Bandcamp. Stu later released his 10-track debut album ‘ILLiad‘ in December of 2019 on all digital streaming platforms. Stu’s 2021 releases have been in the form of singles, further showcasing his ability to blend the gritty with the lush, the street with sophistication, and the catchy with the unconventional.

His latest track ‘All Yours’ features chopped-up vocal samples that have been layered to provide the perfect foundation for the hard-hitting drums and bass line that are introduced on the verse.

Lyrically, Stu shines on this track. Reflecting on those we’ve lost recently, and offering some words of guidance for those still suffering from personal loss. Stu is able to make his message digestible enough for the common listener, yet powerful enough to transcend various eras of Hip Hop. ‘All Yours‘ was written, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Stu Gretto at his home studio in Virginia.
