Fabian Secon ft. Mic Righteous – Red Light (Music Video/Link Up TV)

Fabian Secon announces his second official release with a harder edged sound. ‘Red Light’ features Mic Righteous who serves up a typically aggressive sixteen which intersects Fabian’s emotive vocal hooks perfectly. These slick visuals come courtesy of director Chas Appeti (Wretch 32, Krept & Konan).

Fabian (who co-produced the track) explains: “The track is an 808 driven catchy, melodic, energetic street banger. More of a ‘get gassed’ record with that hectic feel. Concept & title is a metaphor for a dangerous girl that you can’t help but pursue”.

Studio sessions with some of the finest from both sides of the Atlantic has seen this multi talented musician work with producers Splurgeboys, Beat Boss, DJ Q, Michael Angelo (Lady Leshurr, Sam Smith, Stormzy) and US songwriter T Coles, who’s recent credits include Chris Brown’s ‘No Filter’ and ‘Turn Up The Music’ plus tracks with Robin Thicke and Arianna Grande. Further collabs with fellow artists J Spades and Dominique Young Unique have seen Fabian gather a collection of killer tunes in his armoury.

Previous single ‘Gold Plated’ (Fabian’s first official release) got the Splurgeboys treatment on the remix and featured bars from Scorcher and Rocket, this went on to garner radio support from Capital FM, Capital Xtra, Westside and Rinse. Whilst the video, hosted by SBTV hit the Top 10 on Kiss TV Hype chart for several weeks and was championed by tastemakers such as Hunger, Pigeons And Planes, and Indie Shuffle.

Born and raised in Brixton, this 18-year-old represents a new generation of young artists who are not only technology-savvy, but also wield a diverse arsenal of musical influences. He merges a more traditional sense of RnB with 21st Century styles to form his unique musical identity; trap, cloud rap, folk and future-leaning RnB. A fascination with melody underpins his productions, his vocals are raw yet fragile, the perfect vehicle for his authentic lyrics. No superficial posturing here, just realness. A young man making music because that is his calling in life. Watch out for more singles, remixes and street tracks from this young LDNR…
