DaVinChe – The Chase/The Last War (Co-Prod. with Jammer BBK/Music Video)

For most UK music fans, no introduction is needed when it comes to super producer DaVinChe. Born and raised in London, south of the river, he played an integral part in shaping the Grime scene right from the start after releasing some of the most legendary tracks to date including Kano’s ‘Ps & Qs’, ‘Brown Eyes’, and ‘Rider’ which featured Ghetts, Steelo, JME and Keedo. The young Grime producer also had a part to play in the early careers of Tinchy Stryder (‘Breathe’ / ’Something About Your Smile’) and Tinie Tempah (‘Tears’).

Now in 2016 – a year which has been dubbed the ‘year of the comeback’ – DaVinChe is ready to unleash new music onto the world. This new music comes in the shape of ‘The VinchOnacci Project’ – quite simply put, a 9-track project full of brand new instrumentals. Complex UK premiered ‘The Lost Time’ – the first track to be taken from the project – (here), and then GRM Daily premiered the first set of double visuals for ‘The Clones / The Lost Time’ (here).

But now Davinche is back already with another brand new double video for ‘The Chase / The Last War (co-prod with Jammer), this time via Gig Slutz, who said of the visuals:

” ‘The Chase’ is a deep, powerful beat that’s full of electronic blips and pounding bass. Accompanied by a creatively shot video that could easily be a segment taken from a new superhero film, this teleportation-featuring visual embodies the feel of the instrumental perfectly before being disrupted by the incoming episode for ‘The Last War’.

This track was co-produced by long time friend, Boy Better Know member and all round Grime legend Jammer and the two clearly have a good rapport with each other, joining forces to create a hypnotically addictive beat. The video for ‘The Last War’ continues the supernatural theme that runs throughout as we get a sneak peak into scenes of DaVinche and Jammer creating the track in a studio session at Red Bull Studios before a dark and unexpected twist takes place… “

The VinchOnacci Project hears DaVinChe’s productions as musical as ever, whilst still staying true to his roots in Grime. The 9-track project also includes ‘The Last War’ – a track that was co-produced by long-time friend, and fellow producer, Boy Better Know’s Jammer.

Davinche is set to have a busier year than ever this year. After dropping his own project and visuals to go with it, he also produced Tinchy Stryder’s brand new track ‘Allow Me’ which features JME; and he’s got a couple of dope tracks on Frisco’s upcoming album ‘System Killer’ which is set to drop in April.

This is just a warm up. To be continued…
